Terrafugia Transition EAA Airventure 2008 Oshkosh
The Terrafugia Transition at EAA Airventure 2008 in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Billed as "not a flying car, but a road-able plane", the Transition takes another shot at the often tried plane-car concept. Carires two people at a cruise speed of 100kts with a range of 460 mi. Burns super unleaded standard pump gas in it’s 100hp Rotax engine. They hope to make a first flight in late 2008 and begin sales in 2009, although that doesn’t seem to leave time for government certification. Projected price around $200k
