VW Beetle Firetruck EAA Airventure 2008
They used lots of these modified open top VW Beetles as ground support vehicles at EAA Airventure 2008 in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Although many had fire extinguishers in the back, I liked the addition of the side mounted fire axe and hood siren on this one. When I first saw it at a distance I actually thought the axe was just painted on.
